Unfortunately we do get this question alot. Yes, if you are the property owner, and someone has abandoned a vehicle on your property you can request it to be impounded. We absolutely can and do help business owners all across this area. At no charge to you as the business owner, we can put our signs up - with your parking requirements. Then if you have need of us, just call into our dispatch line, we come remove the car, and the paperwork nightmare becomes ours. My car got impounded last night by the local police. What do I do? How do I get it back?

This question is probably one of the most asked. First off, you must be the registered owner of the vehicle. If you are, then you can call our dispatch line to arrange an appointment. There are 2 kinds of appointments. One is a property pickup. If you have property in the vehicle, you are legally allowed to retrieve that if you cannot retrieve the entire vehicle due a police hold or something similar.

If you are trying to pick up the car itself, please make sure you get a release from whatever law enforcement agency had it impounded. We cannot release a vehicle to anyone other than the registered owner, and we cannot release a police impound without a police department release.

For impounds specifically, we do not accept credit cards or checks as a form of payment. We used to, then we lost a tremendous amount of money on fraudelent charge backs. That forced us to change our policy to only accept cash payments for impounded vehicles. We are not able to be flexible on this particular policy.
